It has it’s original case and the serial numebr range in in the 200,000. I am looking to buy a Parker Brothers DH 20 Gauge SxS Shotgun. Where is the best place for me to sell these guns? I live in Mass. Also does the Trojan have a Damascus type barrel? What type of barrel does the single trap have? I have shot standard load shells out of it in the past at a local trap range with no issues. I have a CHE grade that is a single trigger beaver forehand full full 3″ chambers and scroll engraved only ( no dog) how would I find the history of it?
My gun has M9 at the end and was made in 1969. The serial numbers on the Belgian made guns had a letter stamp and then the year of manufacture which became 2 digit after 1969. To help you with this I have listed the serial number & year manufactured. One of the frequent requests I receive is on the year their grand fathers old Parker was manufactured. Based on this information, I would surmise that your shotgun was made in 1969. PARKER SHOTGUNS SERIAL NUMBERS AND YEAR OF PRODUCTION According to the Browning website: Auto-5 Semi-Automatic Shotgun, starting in 1969 and going until 1976, Browning used a two digit prefix (followed by the remainder of the serial number) to identify the year of manufacturing.
